Its the time of year where we give full backpacks to the Opportunity House! The Guests at the Opp House need supplies during the winter and we love being generous at UCity!
On Sunday morning Nov 17th we will gather for worship and pack the bags!

Women's Bloom Event
Mark the Date for November 9th 11-3pm for our women's event!! This is the women’s event you have been waiting for! As the Women of UCity we are going to gather, we are going to eat good food, worship, hear God’s word, but most importantly we are going to spend time together engaging in authentic and meaningful conversations.

Friends Giving at the Opp House
Thursday Nov 21st 5:30-8:00PM!
The Opportunity House is a homeless day shelter in Concord and UCity is excited to provide dinner and a worship service for their guests! The gathering will be at the Opp House from 6-9, but we ask UCity Volunteers to arrive at 5. You can sign up to bring food and/or come serve at the event, either way we are so happy to have you and know that God is going to do some amazing things in us and through us!

This is your one next faithful step to discover who God made you to be and what God made you to do! This time is an investment into YOU! Come ready to be encouraged, to be challenged, to learn from God’s Word, to practice our UCity Values, and get practical next growth steps for your faith journey.
$50 registration cost includes dinner, lunch, snacks and drinks as well as the Growth Cohort Booklet and your graduation gift.
We will meet Friday, February 2nd from 6PM-9:30PM and Saturday, February 3rd from 9AM-5PM. Address provided upon registration.

Group Leader Training
If you are a current UCity Group leader OR are interested in becoming one, this training is for you! We will be sharing our vision and goals for the upcoming year, as well as sharing valuable resources relating to how to stay healthy and effective as a UCity Group Leader.
This training session will be led by Maria Furlough and Tiffany Godwin. We are excited about what God is doing in groups and want to grow even more at empowering you as leaders.
We will even be talking about how to build your group, so even if you are a little bit interested come on out! Lunch will be provided so what is better than that?!

UCity Women's Painting in the Park
CALLING ALL UCITY WOMEN! Join us at Reedy Creek Park (behind the playground, heading towards shelter #7) for Painting in the Park. Bring your own chairs/blankets and snacks, and enjoy a time of community as we create together!

Meet us behind the Keith Family YMCA for an outside screening of Disney’s ENCANTO! Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, and food as we enjoy time together outside in the beautiful spring weather. Movie starts at 8PM! See you there!
